On March 22, 2023, Dr. Weisman participated in the Meeting of the Peripheral and Central Nervous System Drugs Advisory Committee. The committee convened to discuss tofersen, an experimental injection for treatment of ALS.
“It was an honor to serve as an FDA advisor for this complicated data set,” Dr. Weisman said. “I served the people of the United States and those affected by this variant of ALS to the best of my ability.”
