James M. Burke, MD

Dr. James M. Burke earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

He completed residencies in both Internal Medicine and Neurology at the University of Michigan, where he was Chief Resident in Neurology, followed by a Fellowship in Neuromuscular Disease and Electromyography.

Dr. Burke is board certified in internal medicine, neurology, and electrodiagnostic medicine, and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Neurology, and The American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He has received the Blockley Osler Award from the Philadelphia College of Physicians for medical teaching, and has been named one of the best doctors by “Top Doctor” in Philadelphia Magazine, Castle Connolly, and U.S. News and World Report
