Kartik Sivaraaman, MD
Dr. Kartik Sivaraaman earned his medical degree from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University in India. He completed his Internship and Neurology residency at Temple University Hospital, where he has also served as the Chief Resident of Neurology. Dr. Sivaraaman completed his advanced training in Clinical Neurophysiology followed by another fellowship in Epilepsy at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
He was an attending physician in the Department of Neurology at Virginia Commonwealth University and Rutgers University prior to joining us. In his academic position, he served in various roles including clinical practice, medical student teaching, managing clinical trials and resident supervision. His research has been regularly featured in leading academic journals and presented in several professional meetings. Dr. Sivaraaman is vastly experienced in the treatment of epilepsy including evaluation for epilepsy surgery and vagus nerve stimulation. He is also skilled in reading long-term EEGs, critical care EEGs and intraoperative monitoring.
Dr. Sivaraaman is board certified in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy.
